Neurodiversity | Medical Plan Coverage
You may have heard the term neurodiversity in recent years, and may not be sure of its definition or how the term has evolved. The National Symposium on Neurodiversity defines neurodiversity as a concept where neurological differences are to be recognized and respected as any other human variation.
The word neurodiversity refers to the diversity of all people, but it is often used in the context of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or various learning disabilities.* Obtaining a diagnosis of neurodiversity is key so that people can learn to adapt to bring about success in their careers and in everyday situations. There are a wide range of options such as therapy programs, medications and more to help people lead successful lives. Many of these interventions are covered through Pearson-sponsored medical plans. COVID-19 Tests | End of Public Health Emergency
Now that the Public Health Emergency has ended, please note that at-home, over-the-counter COVID-19 tests (with or without a prescription) will no longer be covered under Pearson’s medical and prescription drug programs. These tests remain reimbursable under your Health Care Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan | Deadline to Enroll is June 16
You have until June 16 to enroll in the July 2023–December 2023 Offering Period. When you join the ESPP, you elect to contribute some of your pay to purchase shares of Pearson stock at a 15% discount using the total amount you’ve contributed. The discount will be applied to the closing stock price on the first day or last day of the six-month Offering Period — whichever is lower. To enroll, visit Empower Retirement and click on “Pearson plc Employee Stock Purchase Plan” and then “visit site.”
