Welcome to the March Edition of

For Your Benefit

Welcome to the March 2021 edition of For Your Benefit. In the months since our last edition, we have welcomed the arrival of three vaccines for COVID-19. As expected, the introduction of the vaccine brings with it many questions. Inside you will find helpful resources as well as ways to handle the stress caused by the pandemic-related upheaval in our lives. We are also sharing information about the national March health observance, which focuses on nutrition. Finally, take note of a new wellbeing program at Pearson and how you can be a part of it.

Whether you decide to get the COVID-19 vaccine, or not, is a personal decision, but with an onslaught of information coming at us, it can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve gathered some of the top questions here and provided resources to help you navigate your way through all the news.

While so much of our lives have focused on COVID-19 these many months, it is still very important to maintain our overall health which includes eating nutritious meals. March is National Nutrition Month and while we all know eating fruits and vegetables are good for you, now may be the perfect time to improve our eating habits while being stuck at home. And, eating healthy does not have to be expensive! Read inside to learn about healthy foods that won’t break the bank.

There are many Pearson benefits that can be of help during these challenging times. Within the magazine, you will hear about some of them but, as always, I encourage you to visit our website for specifics about all of the programs available.

There is no doubt that the last 12 months have been hard on all of us. For some, you may have experienced COVID-19 yourself. Others may have lost a loved one, friend or colleague during the pandemic. It is my sincere hope that the next year will bring much needed relief and a return to some level of normalcy. No matter how uncertain the times, now or in the days ahead, you can be sure that Pearson Benefits is always here to support you.
