Support for

Your Emotional WellBeing

Fear, worry, and stress are normal responses at times when we are faced with uncertainty or the unknown. So, it is normal and understandable that people are experiencing anxiety about the COVID‑19 pandemic.

Added to the fear of contracting the virus in a pandemic are the significant changes to our daily lives as our movements are restricted. Faced with new realities such as working from home, home-schooling of children, and lack of physical contact with others, it is important that we look after our mental, as well as our physical, health.

Your Pearson benefits offer a variety of ways to get the emotional help you need to deal with stress, both pre- and post-pandemic.

A. The Employee Assistance Program

If you are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, grief, domestic violence, substance abuse or relationship issues, Cigna’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is ready to help.
