Two new programs connect you
to the resources you need

Introducing telemedicine healthcare goes hi-tech with virtual doctor visits
You spoke and we listened. Don’t have time to leave work to visit the doctor? Away from home and need to see a physician for those pesky allergies? Soon you’ll be able to access a doctor without having to travel anywhere, through telemedicine.
How it works
Telemedicine enables patients with acute, non-emergency needs to have quick access to physicians via live video or telephone for less than the cost of an office-visit copay. The kinds of conditions generally treated via telemedicine include allergies, bronchitis, cold & flu symptoms, pink eye, ear infections and more.
Telemedicine does not replace your relationship with your doctor. It is simply a convenient way to receive care quickly and at an affordable cost. Watch your home mail in April for more information announcing the new program!
Guided Patient Support (GPS™) new program helps you navigate the healthcare system
GPS stands for Guided Patient Support (GPS™), and starting April 1, Pearson will offer the GPS program from Consumer’s Medical Resource (CMR®).
GPS is a benefit designed to help all benefit-eligible employees and their household members get current, comprehensive, objective, and personalized information and support about any medical diagnosis or health topic.
How GPS can help you and your family
GPS helps you become a better health care consumer by helping to answer the five most important questions in health care: What do I have? What do I need? Where do I go? What will it cost? How do I connect?
This service is confidential, independent of any insurance company, and will be available at no cost.
You will receive more information about this exciting new benefit in a packet that will be mailed to your home address in April.
