At Pearson, we are just as concerned about mental health as we are about financial and physical well-being. That’s why we offer several ways to receive help and some of that assistance does not require you to be enrolled in a medical plan.
Employee Assistance Program
If you are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, grief, domestic violence, substance abuse or relationship issues, Cigna’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is ready to help. And, you don’t need to be enrolled in a Pearson health plan to use the EAP.
Unlimited phone counseling and up to 5 face-to-face counseling sessions per issue per year are available to you and family members who live with you. You can also take advantage of EAP resources such as the online library of articles and on-demand webinars.
Call 1.800.593.4138 to find out more information or visit my.cigna.com. Please note that the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has moved to my.cigna.com. If you’re accessing EAP services with Cigna, please register on the myCigna website. For members who are not enrolled in Cigna medical, you must also register on the myCigna website by using your full name, date of birth, address, employer ID (pearson) and relationship to the Pearson employee. You will create a username and password for future access. This is a one-time requirement.
