What Does It Mean For You?
Certain aspects of the Affordable Care Act take effect as of January 1, 2014, and you may be wondering if that will have any effect on you.
Because you are eligible for coverage under a health plan through Pearson that fully meets the standards of the law, it probably has no direct impact on you. The law is designed to help people who don’t have access to a quality employer-sponsored plan to purchase a private plan they can afford. Those plans are sponsored by each state through what are called “exchanges.” For more information, visit www.healthcare.gov.
The VSP benefit provides eye care to help keep your eyes healthy, including low-cost eye exams and discounts on frames and lenses.

The allowance for frames and elective contact lenses has increased to $150.
